BI-COLOUR PICOTEE - DESCRIPTION
The principal characterisitc of a "BI-COLOUR" is different colours exhibited on both the outside as well as corresponding inside of the ALTERNATING petals.
The 'PICOTEE' element relates to splashes of pigment appearing on the inside tip margins - sometimes quite faint.
Truly beautiful.

Green Clivias
Green Clivias are a distinct sub group [GROUP 2] within the species Clivia miniata.
They are easily identified by their crean/lemon/lime and green flowers. Intensity of the green is definitely influenced by the level of nutrition.
Plants in the grex that I favour were originally developed by Japanese breeders Nakamura and Koki. They are generally more compact with medium width leaves and very attractive dark contrasting foilage. I am continuing to develop variegation by careful selection and development of parents..
The potential for a broad range of diverse flower colours and patterns is at our fingertips as these beauties are only in their third decade of development. We are limited only by our imagination and level of patience.
